Ruky Obahor is woman who was provoked to ask God questions after experiencing a series of painful life events. Having gone through a series of broken relationships including two failed marriages, rather than jump into another relationship and find herself back where she started, she finally decided “enough is enough; I have to put an end to this vicious cycle”.
After her second divorce, she went through what she says is the darkest and loneliest period of her life. But that was when she had an encounter with Jesus who began to highlight some hidden truths about her life; a desperate search for love, fuelled by low self-esteem.
Genuine questions like “Why the rejection?” “Why the pain?” “why does this keep happening to me?” resulted in her writing a daily devotional called ‘What is God up to?’ and birthing the ‘Meeting by the well’ ministry. She has since written four books and with four near death experiences, Ruky Obahor is a survivor who has been protected by God so she can tell her story about how God truly turns things around for the good of those that love Him and are called according to His purpose.
